I thought heavy rain was an awesome game and certainly unlike anything I have played before. It was also the first game I got for my new ps3. I do agree with Eddy about the voice actors, they did sound pretty bad in some parts. However I would certainly give this game an A. Great review Eddy!

I love this idea of removing base-building. I would much rather play based on how well I can manage an army in combat than based upon how quickly I can get a resource and press a button until my mouse breaks.

RTTs baby! This brings me back to games like Ground Control which was just 'Do what you can with what you have, no reinforcements, no screwups.'

There is something to be said for simplicity, but when I am trying to manage a war campaign. I like it to actually feel as complicated as one. there are both pros and cons for going more simple. with supcom I believe dumbing it down takes away from what made the first one unique.

I have the network for free, so I'm getting it for sure. I'm also doing 3 playthroughs too..technically. There's my main Shepard that I finished the game with already (I still find ways to have fun and play with him though) My evil Shepard (Female) and my in between guy Adrian...and yes I ripped that from Half Life

(Anyone who has played ME and HL:OF is a liar if they say they didn't name atleast one of their Shepards "Adrian")

I think you are on the right track. I feel like there has been a real push to bring the hardcore gamers and the passive gamers together. For example, I've never liked playing strategy games, and devs know there are a lot of people like me out there. So, they make the game simpler and more approchable for someone like me, while still trying to "bring the hardcore flavour" into it. Frankly, I'm not going to play the game no matter how simple it gets, and people like you or 'RTS Only' dudes and dudettes get the short end of the usbStick.

Yes, this game looks absolutely brilliant on a powerful enough PC like my i7 920 and GeForce GTX 275. But it's also the shaky camera that really brings out all the stuff you don't see while you're running and gunning through the game...

I think I'm gonna play some MW2 now, thanks.

I just have to say that that looked really boring. Very few enemies, one lame gun and boring terrain, from what I saw.
