Trailer Trash: Dishonored

Trailer Trash

So it’s been some time since our last (and only) Trailer Trash. But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about the series, or you, our wonderful Sushi readers. If you don’t remember, Trailer Trash is a series where we trash on video game trailers, Mystery Science Theater 3000 style. Or, if you’re not familiar with that, just consider it a bite-sized version of our illustrious gaming podcast, where we say whatever garbage enters our minds and mouths.

Basically, it’s pretty entertaining. But I’m biased.

In this edition of Trailer Trash, we look at the upcoming Bethesda game, Dishonored. Even though our industry seems to be lacking in brand new IPs, Bethesda sort of shocked the world a few months back with a look at something nobody had ever seen before. Dishonored looks like everything we love about Bioshock, Half-Life 2 and Mirror’s Edge, with a little bit of Steampunk flavor thrown in for good measure. But all that excitement doesn’t stop us from ripping into the trailer a little bit. Heads up: we actually recorded this back when the trailer dropped, so forgive us for some possibly out of date speculation.

  1. I was definitely getting a Mirror’s Edge vibe as well, which has me excited. I really liked that game, and there is still talk about a 2nd game I’ve heard… ?

Game looks fun, considering pre-ordering it to get the extra 10% discount on Steam during this Bethesda deal thing.

p.s. you guys should rearrange Anthony and Nick’s pictures, so they look like a cute couple leaning on each other.
