The GamerSushi Show, Episode 47: Getting the Band Back Together

Hello Sushians, it’s podcast time! Episode 47 is upon us as we inch ever closer to the big five-oh. It’s kind of crazy that we’ve managed to put out more than a few of these things, but such is our dedication. Who’s to say what exactly will happen in Episode 50, but drinks will be consumed.

Speaking of drinks being consumed, this episode is kind of an accidental drunk cast as Jeff and I imbibed a few beverages before and during the recording, as you will be able to tell. Nick also joined us for the first time in over a month and brought us a game of Buy or Sell! We also talk FEZ, Trials Evolution and get down and dirty with a few trailers. Listen. Rate. Live long and prosper.

  1. Anthony, 60 hours for Xenoblade would definitely be an under estimation, unless your just rushing through the story. (60 hours = rushing. What?) I got as much out of it as I could I was over 100 hours.

Wearable computers, why not something like the Mass Effect Omnitools? Holographic displays, input all in one. Sure it’d probably be a while a away, but the way technology is progressing, I could see it happening.

Also, what was that outro music? Was it from Fez?

I am actually rushing through only the story, lol. The side quests are not worth doing unless I do them by accident. Really enjoying it though.

  3. Yay for having the full crew on the cast for once! The beard quotient was getting dangerously low. Good topics, all. I’m all good with wearable computing, but only if it’s indie-developed.

Outro music is Adventure, from Disasterpeace’s excellent FEZ soundtrack.

  4. Great podcast guys, it was good to have the full team in it. Speaking of video game soundtracks, whatever happened to the articles about standout songs? I always enjoyed those since video game soundtracks now occupy about 60% of my music listening time.
