Personally, it’s all about the Gears of War 3. I’m really excited to try the multiplayer that Eddy and Mitch keep raving about. So…who ya got??

Age: 34 PSN ID: Starkiller81. I've played games since before I can remember, starting with my dad's Atari and I haven't stopped yet. Keep them coming and I will keep playing them.

  1. I’ll second that on Red Orchestra 2! I have never in my life been more excited for a game.
Have any of the Gamersushi staff played the first Red Orchestra?

  2. well i have to third that on RO2. I’ve been playing the beta that came out 2 days ago and so far i love it. They even patched it literally 24 hours after. Way to go Tripwire, way to go.

  3. Definitely the team ICO collection because unlike many of you I’ve never played sotc or ICO (zod noise) and after hearing how much you guys enjoyed it I can’t wait

  4. Ive been playing a lot of Gears 2 trying to get ready. I want to like Dead Island but the more I watch the less excited I am, Ill still get it, but down the road when its cheap.

  5. Umm…none of the above.

No XBox, no PC capable of handling current games, and anything coming out on PS3 hasn’t caught my attention.

Mind you this is my first anniversary of owning a PS3 (I was really late to the game), so I have a backlog of super titles to get through. Just started Arkham Asylum, for example…

  6. I voted for the Team Ico collection since thats what I’m most excited for, but without a PS3 I won’t able to play it 🙁 Still, its good to know that its there if the situation changes

  7. I threw down for Team Ico, even though I’ve already played both of them. Besides that, September doesn’t really interest me too much this year. October’s where it’s at! Dark Souls!

PS – After reading these responses, I might have to go do a little Red Orchestra research.

  8. @ Anthony, I may be wrong but my guess is that it’s a rhythm game where you play as a conductor during the Great Comrade Stalin’s glorious reign and you play patriotic Russian compositions to crowds eager to praise his glorious name or to convert the doubters. Red Orchestra 1 was probably very similar (like most rhythm games) except it probably took place during Lenin’s rule…
    It’s probably an RTS though.

Anyway, I voted for the Team Ico Collection. I never played Ico and I really want SotC to be in HD!

In Resistance 3 related news, I’m playing the beta (which is now open to non-PSN subscribers thankfully) and whilst I enjoy it, I’m not swayed by it over Uncharted 3, BF3 and MW3’s multiplayer. Also I will probably just go out and buy Deus Ex 3 (that sure is a lot of 3s!) while I’m waiting for those ones instead of Resistance 3 OR theTeam Ico Collection (I’m actually hoping to get DEHR as a birthday present today due to my numerous ‘subtle hints’ lol).

Yeah, I thought the initial hype had given way to the harsh truth of reality as seen by previews, but I guess now.
