Uncharted 3 Co-Op Trailer Takes the Fight to New Heights

It goes without saying that Uncharted 3 is one of this year’s most anticipated titles, but I’m going to say it like a dork anyway because that’s what I do, and it makes for a decent introductory sentence. While Naughty Dog has dutifully shown us glimpses of both single player and multiplayer, one aspect of Uncharted 3 that has been fairly under wraps has been the co-op aspect.

Luckily for all of us slobbering Drake fans, they released some brand new footage for co-op on Spike TV last night, in the form of this entertaining Uncharted 3 co-op trailer. I’ll let you watch it for yourselves, but I will say this: vertical shootouts. Yup.

So, thoughts? Can’t this game just come out already?

  1. Very interesting. I was totally ready to make jokes about an old guy like Sully leaping around so easily, but the shots of the characters at the end makes me think that this is a flashback kind of thing.

One gripe though: the jumping animations in Uncharted always looked a little floaty and weird to me. Super excited about the vertical shooting, though.

  2. wtf? This looks 3 or 4 years old, with cheesy “Look out!” or “I hope there’s an elevator this time…” kind of lines. I don’t get it…

I hope the story is awesome.

    1. Well keep in mind this isn’t the actual game, but a separate co-op campaign. But yeah, I don’t get why it would look any worse than the main game either.

  3. @ Julez – Its obvious thats not what the game will look like. Who knows when that was rendered

Im excited about it. I hope its not just completely a run and gun aspect. 2 person puzzles will be great. This will be a great title to play with my girlfriend and any friends on PSN.

Btw, any of you on here who want to add me let me know.
