Hottest February 2011 Releases

Killzone 3

The first month of 2011 is already gone and thanks to LittleBigPlanet 2 and Dead Space 2, we’ve seen two sequels that took their franchises to a whole new level. The month of February, which also happens to be my birthday month, looks like a nice mix of sequels and new IPs for us to blow out hard earned cash on.

Take a look at the list and see if there is anything that catches your eye. For myself, Radiant Historia, a time-travel JRPG on the DS that reminds me of Chrono Trigger, has capatured my imagination and likely my pre-order as well. Are there any games I left off that you think should be on the list? Speak now!

2/14/11

  • Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation  – DS

2/15/11

  • Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds – PS3, Xbox 360

2/22/11

  • Bulletstorm – PC, PS3, Xbox 360
  • Killzone 3 – PS3
  • Radiant Historia – DS

Age: 34 PSN ID: Starkiller81. I've played games since before I can remember, starting with my dad's Atari and I haven't stopped yet. Keep them coming and I will keep playing them.

  1. The only one that could be on the list is Two Worlds II. It seems the majority of hyped up games will be released in March like Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, Darkspore, and Homefront ( I feel like Mitch about it). Also, is Deus Ex 3 coming out in March or is it coming out later?

  2. If DQ VI comes to Australia I might pick it up. I had a lot of fun with 9 so I’m certainly interested.

  3. Well happy birthday eventually Anthony.
Mass Effect 2 has me covered for a long time, but if I have some spare money floating around I shall invest in KZ3.

  4. MvC3 is a sure thing for me, then it looks like Ill get Bulletstorm… gonna pass on Killzone 3, played 2 for like a week and now it just collects dust

  5. I am personally most excited for Test Drive Unlimited 2. I’m normally not a racing guy, but the setting and what not seem great.
