GamerSushi Asks: What Are Your Gaming Resolutions?

RDR Undead Nightmare

Happy new year, folks. Yesterday marked the first day of the brand new year. Surprisingly, this blue and green ball keeps spinning along through space, un-attacked by alien oppressors. One day, though, this will happen. I have foreseen it in the moving cinema pictures.

Anyway, now that the holiday season is largely over, how did your gaming go? What games have you been playing? For me, I’ve been knocking out quite a few games. I started with Forgotten Sands, then moved onto Enslaved, and now I’m playing Undead Nightmare and lots of NBA 2K11. One of my resolutions this year is to just enjoy more books and games, getting a healthy dose of each one of those every week. Something called Web Zeroes and writing a couple of books got in the way last year, but I won’t let that happen this year.

So what about you guys? Do you have any resolutions or gaming related goals you’ve set for this year? Any non-gaming ones? Go!

  1. Finding time to play games from my ”omfg, I wanna play this awesome games” list.
That’s my only resolution for this year xD

  2. Mine is to enjoy PS3 exclusives now that I have a PS3. Also, to make sure I play 1 new game every month this year, which thankfully, won’t be hard.

  3. Happy new year everyone. I havent commented a lot but I have been checking the site regularly through 2010 and its had a few changes, all for the best.

Gaming wise Id like to stop buying games, beating them, then putting them on my shelf untouched forever… least I can do is go back and get some achievements

  4. I’m actually in the same boat as SK Beans. Now that I have a room mate with a PS3, I really want to give Heavy Rain and 3D Dot Game Heroes a try. I’d also like to finish more of the games I start. Because I go in spurts of buying games, I usually start 3 or 4 at the same time, and then forget about them.

Thanks to Steam’s ridiculous sales, I’ve been playing a few casual games (RUSH & Puzzle Dimension) and have Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Cryostasis awaiting my cousin’s return (can’t play scary games alone).

    Happy New Year everyone.

  5. I am also in the same boat as Julez and SK beans (it is a nice boat though). I got a ton of games over the steam sale, now I just need to finish them. the PS3 is going to be hard to keep up with next year (Resistance 3, Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, Infamous 2…) add on PC games (shogun 2, DOTA 2, Avadon: The Black Fortress, hopefully Diablo 3, the Witcher 2…) and it is going to be a good year.

Hahaha that’s so nerdy, yet so awesome.

  7. Nice one Nick.
I don’t really have any non gaming resolutions. Maybe study hard so I can get into university next year and make sure games don’t prevent me from doing so.
I’ll still play them plenty of course! My gaming resolution is to finish DA:O which has consumed most of my gaming time this holiday season and to platinum it because I haven’t platinumed a game in donkeys. In addition to that: BFBC2 with my friends because we’ve missed playing it so much. Maybe GT5 too.
