GamerSushi Asks: What Are You Playing?

X Men

You’ve probably noticed a bit of a slow down on the site, and that’s mostly intentional. Since the holidays are rolling in with a vengeance, we’ll still be posting but there will be a tad bit of down time as we take a break and recharge for 2011. There should be a podcast posted in the next couple of days, and maybe a couple of features and news posts as we see them, but overall we’re going to be playing lots of games just like you guys. It’s been a pretty awesome year for us here at the ‘Sushi, and we’re looking forward to next year even more.

So, now that that’s out of the way, what are you guys playing? Right now, I’m working on Dead Rising 2 like a crazy person. I beat the game last weekend and now I’m just rolling through and trying to level up and pick up some extra achievements. In addition to that, I’m on the cusp of finishing Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (affectionately known as AssBro by Mitch). I’ve even been playing the re-released X-Men arcade game over XBL with Anthony, which has been a good time. I can’t wait to get some more gaming out of the way.

And you dudes? What are you guys playing?

  1. Well my new PS3 is an Xmas present so until then I’m using this as a very good excuse to finish 2 great games which I never got round to completing: Deus Ex and Oblivion (neither of which I completed the main storyline of). Their sequels really made me want to go and finish them now before I start playing Black Ops, Dragon Age: Origins (which I’ll have to start again thanks to my old PS3 having a fault in backing up data, thank you very much Sony) and GT5 when I get my PS3. Roll on next Saturday!

  2. Right now I’m not really playing anything. I’m kind of worn out with Black Ops, and it is very annoying when I have my buddy always wanting me to get online and play. I asked for Undead Nightmare for Christmas (hopefully I get it ’cause that’s about all I asked for). Other than that I’m kind of just waiting until Test Drive Unlimited 2 now. I cannot wait for that game!

On a random note, I had some time in between my finals today so I watched Miss March for the first time. I could not help but think a few times while watching it that the main character, Eugene (Zach Cregger), reminds me a lot of Daniel. Somewhat in the looks, but a lot in the mannerisms sometimes lol. And by Daniel, I mean his character in Web Zeroes. I have no idea what he is like in real life. I don’t know how often he stops by here, but maybe he will see this and find a long lost brother or something lol.

  3. I caved and bought Minecraft to see what it was all about… 3 hours later I ended up buying a giftcode for my friend. I don’t even understand WHY it’s addicting… I just can’t stop mining!!

I agree. I bought the game. And I became addicted. My friend commented that it was a shitty game with bad graphics. I invited him to take a swing at it. He also became addicted and ask where he could buy the game as well.

    1. Totally agree with you guys about Minecraft! There’s really no reason at all why it should be addictive, but somehow it manages to sink its claws in. Personally, I haven’t gotten to play it all that much recently, but I’m looking forward to getting back into it in the near future. Got a cave that needs exploring.
