TMNT: Turtles in Time Remake

tmntMan. I don’t know how many of you guys played the old school side-scrolling beat-em-up Ninja Turtle games back in the day, but they were pretty much my favorite things ever. The original TMNT for the NES (with rocket-powered skateboards), as well as Hyperstone Heist and Turtles in Time were so stinking fun to play back then, I remember repeatedly renting those games and beating them in one sitting with my brother.

That’s why I’m thrilled to hear that a 3D Turtles in Time remake is underway, and is rumored to be coming to XBox Live sometime in the near future. If this is true, I’m buying that game the day it comes out and playing the junk out of it.

Who else loves this game and wants to hit up some 4 player co-op when it drops?

  1. Aww. Xbox live? Hyperstone Heist is one my favorite games ever. I wish I had an X-box.

  2. HOLY CRAP. Me and my cousin played the CRAP out of this game on the SNES when we were lil’ punks. I can’t believe it!

I dont have a 360, but you’ve suddenly reminded me of a new local shop that carries SNES/NES games… I’ve gotta find this game on SNES!!

  3. Damnit, I hit tab and and enter. Turtles in Time sounds familiar, and I’m sure as soon as I submit this, I’ll smack my head and realize it was one of my favorites too, but anyways, I miss those old TMNT games.

  4. Ive probably spent more money on the old side scrolling TMNT games. They were at the arcade me and my older brother would go to and I litteraly knew that machinima like the back of my hand. Leonardo was my guy and when you mentioned the skateboards I was reminded of those awesome memories. Ill be getting it day 1 as well if you want to coop it up lol

  5. I think you mean the second TMNT for the NES was fun, cause God knows the first one was terribly hard.

I would love for this to come to the PSN!
