Nintendo Modern Classics

nes-fallout3Man, I geek out so bad over retro video game art, or video game art of any kind really. If I was some rich dude that had lots of money to blow, I would immediately buy up enough video game art to fill up a couple of gaming rooms in my ludicrous mansion. But alas, that day has not yet come. However, we can still enjoy looking at stuff online, right?

Enter the Minus World, who have put together some of today’s classic games, and designed covers for them as if they were old school NES titles. The result is pixelated awesomeness, and ranges from games like Dead Space, Fallout 3, Animal Crossing, World at War, Gears of War 2 and more.

My favorite has got to be Gears of War 2 or Wii Sports. What about you guys?

  1. Ha retro Fallout FTw! I too love the creativity like this! I’ll check this out and (if I ever get time) may hav a go myself!

  2. Awesome! I love the Fallout 3 one, and the Gears 2 one has a neat camera angle. And the Wii Sports one is basically exactly the same as the real title.

  3. I’m busy online FPS’ing but I’ll check this out later. Seems like an awesome concept.
