PC Games That Deserve Sequels

jediknightpcAh, PC gaming yesteryear. How I miss thee. No matter how much I love console gaming, there’s a part of me that will never leave PC gaming behind completely. Unfortunately, there aren’t a whole lot of games that really make me want to jump back into it these days.

In honor of PC games gone by, Big Download has put together a list of 10 PC Games That Need to Make a Comeback. While I haven’t heard of all of the games on the list, I strongly agree with a couple that they have on there. Particularly Baldur’s Gate, Wing Commander, and the Jedi Knight games.

What about you guys? What PC games would you like to see sequels for? For me, Counter-Strike! It’s about time for a new one, darnit.

  1. The X-Wing series! Honestly, I can’t believe that there hasn’t been a sequel since X-Wing vs TIE Fighter. I love the tactics involved in the combat, especially when you had to divide your power between engines, lasers and shields, and your speed would adjust accordingly. It was hard as hell, but that just made it all the more rewarding.

  2. Jedi Knight series fo sure. I still play them to this day.

I’m not sure how I feel about CSS, the game is ok but the community around it throws me off a lot. It actually remind me a lot of the LIVE community i.e full of whiny people on mics and general &£^$tards.

Also what is there to update? Most people would complain if anything new was added like skills or classes or whatever. It would probably just be a graphical/engine update.

Go to gravatar.com and make an account. The simply jus upload your pic.

  4. Homeworld ones would be a HUGE hit. I can only imagine what they would look like now, with all our graphical capabilities
