Well, a new year is coming upon us, and let’s hope that 2009 is just as good for gaming as 2008 was. To be honest, while there were a lot of great games that have dropped on us in the past few months, I don’t know if there were any standout titles that left me proclaiming “greatest game evar!!”, though there were quite a few that I did love.
Anthony and I wanted to say thanks for hanging out around here and reading our goofy thoughts on video games, as well as sharing your own back with us. I have to be honest, I check this site more than SFF, which I know is how many of you found this cool gaming nook. I think we’ve got a sweet community here, and I’m a huge fan of the discussions we get going.
For the new year, we here at GamerSushi were wondering what we could do better in terms of features and posts, and how we can make this place even better. Between reviews, GamerSushi asks, GameCop/LameCop, etc., we’ve got quite a few features that we enjoy writing. What would you like to see more of? What are your favorite features? What were some of your favorite discussions?
And while you’re at it, what games are you guys going to be playing tonight? I’ll be knocking out some FFVI for the GBA tonight and tomorrow, I’m fairly sure.

Me personally. More Gamecop vs Lamecop. I always get a good chuckle out of it. Game tonight will most likley be Left 4 Dead.
This might be a reach, but I was wondering if us, Gamersushi followers, can post posts too. Of course you have to moderate the post before it’s on here, but when I see posts like the Cossack dude, I thought that will be a good idea. And Eddy and Anthony can sit back and relax.

I think the site is good just the way it is. Maybe like Kalgros said, you could throw in a little more GC vs. LC. Tonight will be some L4D on PC and some NCAA Bball 09 on 360.

I would like to see more reviews to some of Valve’s games and a little more attention to mods and community created content.
Game tonight will probably be Guitar Hero 3. I’m gonna play the hell out of my favorite song, “Prayer of the Refugee” by Rise Against.

I go to this site more than any other gaming site for my news. I like the way you guys handle your writing; it’s more like listening to some buddies talk about it than reading a long winded piece that takes up way more paragraphs than it should.
As for the articles and features, I love ’em all. GameCop vs LameCop is my favorite, but I really enjoy Would You Rather and your reviews.

I would have to say that I would like to see more “GamerSushi asks”.
For games, either CoD:5, CS:S, or Mechwarrior 4. (I love me some simulators with 100 ton killing machines.)
I personally like the random news and features – I get more gaming news here than I do from gamespot. And tonight (this morning) will be Moun & Blade.

I think as this grows becoming more of a website community instead of a blogging community will need to be looked at. Right now though its just the beginning!

I like the would you rather feature. But I wouldnt mind seeing some old features like then you impersonated the ps3 fanboy im still waiting for the other fanboy impersonations.

I went from 12:30 to 1:30 playing Red Orchestra: OSTFRONT 41-45, then about an hour of Insurgency, then 2 hours of L4D and Nazi Zombies, and finally 1 and a half hours of CoD4 pwnage. Epic fun!

As for tonight, I will be playing Chrono Trigger and Fallout 3.

More GameCop/LameCop, and I’ll be mostly playing L4D and WoW WotLK (if u don’t know what that stands for u probably don’t own the games [tough!]). Getting Fallout 3 soon too, it’s only a matter of time!
And yeah, I check out the GS more than SFF, only cause there are x5 the updates ;D

GameCop/LameCop always cracks me up. Also, i thought up a neat feature: Games Radar. Maybe keep us posted with countdowns to our most anticipated games, as well as release dates.
