Merry Christmas to everyone, from GamerSushi. I hope you guys are all having a safe, fun holiday with lots of presents and time with family. Christmas is maybe my favorite holiday, there’s just a lot of nostalgia and awesome stuff wrapped up all in one day.
That being said, it’s also a time for sweet presents and cool gear. So, tell us about that loot. What did you get? It doesn’t have to be gaming related, just post what you got for Christmas!
So far, I’ve gotten some gift cards, Iron Man on Blu Ray ( I think) and Beedle the Bard by J. K. Rowling. I haven’t made all the rounds yet, but I’ll post more later.

Eh, I had a downgraded kind of Christmas this year. So far I’ve gotten…

-PGR4 (X360 – But the bastard game store accidentally gave me PGR3, which I already have…)

-3 pots of jam/jelly/marmalade (Yes. The kind you put on toast. For Christmas. Probably the most unexpected gift Ive ever got.)
-An Obama book. (Ive been slacking on reading material. Had to find a big book.)
-Expensive chocolate
-Some sweet gloves
-And some good money in my account. (Pretty much going to be for more games later on, like Prince of Persia or some Valve games)
Overall, I think this Christmas was of the lesser kind for me, but I’m not complaining :]

Since my Christmas is on January 7th (I’m Russian Orthodox Christian), I’ll have to wait about a fortnight until I bust open my real presents.
Luckily I’ve managed to convince my parents into getting me a few small goodies prior to our Christmas. I’ve already gotten CoD:WaW, Gears 2, and L4D as early Christmas presents, so that shortens my list of things I’d get.
Even so, on Jan. 7 I’ll be getting Fallout 3 and Red Orchestra. Today I’m downloading CSS via Steam, so FINALLY I’ll get my hands on this classic. I know, shamefully late but better than nothing.
On top of that, I got a Go set – it’s basically Oriental chess – about $80 in cash and $50 in checks, some scarily comfortable socks, and a small box of candy canes. Also, my pet parakeets got a single white sock. They are FASCINATED by white socks. It’s adorable.

Wow. Anyways, I had a decent XMas. Got Gears 2, Fallout 3, Dead Space, CoD:WaW and a ton of other awesome shizz. I even got a freakin N64, which was probably the best one. Long story short, I had a pretty b.a. christmas.

Don’t mean to sound like an asshole but Call of Duty World at War is not actually CoD5 its just a continuation of CoD4. Confusing I know but CoD 5 will be coming out next year i think

I think they will stop with the numbering of Call of Duties and just refer to them by subtitles from now on.
Got a new LG 1080P 32″ LCD, which is amazing! I also got Dead Space, and I have about 100 dollars to spend anywhere I want, so that will go to my xbox.
The only gaming related present I got this year is Prince of Persia. I can’t wait to try it out, but I have been sucked back into Fallout 3 prety hard. Might be a few days before I crack the case.
May have to head out this weekend and grab a little gift for myself. I also bought my friend a WoW Figure Print of his paladin. (I owed him big, lol)

sorry, I worded that wrong. I meant that World at War was just a regression that took the series no where and that the next game to actually continue the series will be modern warfare 2 or so I hope

What about Final Fantasy?
Final Fantasy doesn’t seem to mind. Some companies get self conscience when it comes to numbers, it seems.
Mostly non-gaming related Christmas for me, but I did pick up a few items:
– Trauma Center 2 (Wii)
– Phoenix Wright: Justice for All (DS)
– Chrono Trigger (DS)
Definitely didn’t expect a Nintendo Christmas this year, but I’m happy with my haul. All these dang TV medical dramas have attracted me to the wonderful world of surgery, so hopefully Trauma Center 2 will scratch my itch in the same way its predecessor did. And Phoenix Wright is strangely addictive in its own right, as well as serving the purpose of keeping my DS occupied so that Chrono Trigger doesn’t turn me into a useless human DS attachment quite yet.
