Resident Evil 5- Gameplay in the Refinery

Resident Evil 5 might have some of the best graphics we’ll see this gen. Seriously, the level of detail, the crisp motion blur, all of it comes together to form a stunning picture… of incredible zombie violence. And this is always a good thing. It’s nice to see some more gameplay footage, and not just trailers.

Anybody else excited about this?

  1. This is gonna be a blast. I can’t wait to play this. Still, I’d like to see at least one more RE game that played like the older ones. An RE 2 remake on 360 and ps3 would be amazing. Hell, I’d even take it on the wii if they used the same engine that they used to make RE 0 and the RE 1 remake.

  2. I don’t call RE zombies “zombies”. Well at least in RE5. They hav to much brain to be zombies. Why would they use chain saws? So I jus call these creatures “blood seekers”. Kind of like the “Dark seekers” in I am Legend. Blah blah blah…

Any way the game looks great. I like it when a bot spin kicks a zombie 🙂

  3. Actually if you think back to RE 4, they’re called ganados. It may be something else, but my bet is that the enemies in RE 5 are under the control of Las Plagas, just like in RE 4.

  4. Incredible graphic updates are evident. I do think that they need to work on zombies. Like add some twist to it. Like in L4d there are specials. And I know the chainsaw guy and some other shit. but I mean I was looking for more.

But in RE4 the Las Plagas was injected and had different effects. This time they shove some bug down your throat. Starship Troopers?

  6. Doesn’t seem much like survival horror anymore to me….the whole point of being by yourself is the fact that there is a hopeless feeling. Now this has turned into teamwork for the entire game? Sure the graphics will be top notch and there will be a ton of gore, but a RE has lost that certain “element” along the way that creeps me out…I will probably still check it out just for the heck of it.
