Not sure if many of you ever played Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, but it really was ahead of its time for an FPS. It combined platforming, first person fist-fights, puzzles, RPG-ish sidequests and was also the first XBox game to use normal mapping, and looked great for it.
It’s crazy exciting to me to see another game in the series coming out, though I think I wouldn’t mind seeing a new movie in the franchise, either. I may be the only one, though. Chronicles of Riddick may have been cheesy, but it was a cool sci-fi universe, darnit! Anywho, check out the trailer. It’s epic.

I remember hearing good things about the first game. This could be cool.
I liked the Chronicles of Riddick movies – some people thought they were cheesy, but Vin Diesel made up for it for the most part – and Butcher Bay was badass. So AODA looks very cool. Plus the graphics are very pretty. And Vin Diesel stars.

Dang! Looks just like Vin Diesel! Fighting looks pretty cool. A lot of different ways to take out your enemies.
Personally, I loved the Chronicles of Riddick movie, as well as the novelization of it, which was actually better. I hear that it is supposed to be part of a trilogy (not including Pitch Black), which is cool.
Never played Butcher Bay, but this certainly looks promising.
