I have been waiting for a Harry Potter game that was worth a damn. I mean, seriously, you’ve got this billion dollar book and movie franchise, and you keep letting these half assed attempts come out with the same names. Is it really that hard to make an awesome game where you get to use cool magic and live in a castle? Apparently so.
However, CVG is reporting that the next installment in the Lego series of video games is none other than The Boy Who Lived himself, Harry Potter. This is good news for Potter fans like myself, who want nothing more than to deliver a bone crushing jinx to some lego Death Eaters. I’m a pretty big fan of the Lego games so far, they’ve definitely got a certain charm to them.
Anybody else think this could be cool?

I have never played any of the lego games. Back in the N64 days I had Lego racer, a fun as hell game.
Apparently most of the games in the lego series are ridiculously fun.

The only problem is each game is the same. I played the first two Lego Star Wars games and loved them.
But Indiana Jones and Batman were all the same as the rest.
So I will pass on this unless they actually change it up.

lols Lego is turning into a game company, and games are what is killing them. No one plays with Lego anymore XD

I hope Anthony’s initial take is wrong, but I’m afraid he’s probably right on. Unless they come up with something to change up the gameplay considerably, it’ll be entirely up to my fanboy side. Which is to say, if it gets a better reception than the film adaptation games (which is not saying much), I’ll probably pick it up and get bored halfway through.

Now that my testosterone has returned, I really don’t care about any new Harry Potter game. Although a Lego make-over would be the series’ best choice for trying to continue.

I loved playing with lego, and fun playing a game called “Lego racers”. But it’s kind of embarrassing to get a lego game now :/ I really, maybe, don’t kinda care. (?)

I also played the apple sauce out of “Lego: Rock Raiders” it was an awesome rts.

If you can say anything about it, it’s gotta be better than the other garbage Harry Potter games. I don’t know, maybe a rental, if I even notice when it comes out.

very funny, Eddy,lol. Oh yeah, we can dream. I play every LEGO game that comes out, just disappointed when it plays like the previous iteration.
