So for a bit now, I’ve had my eye on Sonic Unleashed. One thing that I love about old-school gaming that seemed to die out was the idea of 2 1/2 D, which is my favorite D of all. Last week, a new trailer for the return-to-roots Sonic appeared, and I have to say, I think it looks incredible. It seems to have the right mix of challenge and speed that made Sonic such an appealing franchise.
Your thoughts?
I’m not gonna lie. It looks like a lot of fun. But they always show the best. It looks like it would have some frame rate issues. Anyone else agree?
I always loved the speed in sonic games. It seems he got even faster. Also I like the scenery in Sonic games, well detailed.
I looks kind of like a mix of 3d sonic and classic 2d and the werewolf (or whatever it is) looks pretty interesting. I may check it out.
I love when Sonic goes fast, I hate when it turns into a jumping platformer. So this looks good.
