Killer Instinct has some of the greatest sound bytes of any game, fighting or otherwise, that I can remember (ultra! ultra! ultra!). In addition, it had some really wicked combos that were a joy to pull off, no matter how cheap they were.
So it’s with some giddiness that I post the story that’s been circling various gaming sites today, namely that a supposed picture has been snapped of Killer Instinct 3 sheet music for the upcoming game. I’m kind of deliriously enthused.
A lot of people have pointed out that yes, they do appear to be photoshopped, but on the other hand, these rumors seem to pop up every few months or so, only to die back down and then rise yet again. It’s a vicious cycle, really.
Personally, I hope it turns out to be true. I remember lining up at the local ice skating rink and just dominating other kids with Cinder. I think the announcer for Killer Instinct should narrate everything I do.
Did you guys ever play the game? Are your memories as fond as mine?

I own this game…but sadly, it wont work. I have the old SNES cartridge, and it wont work 🙁
I never really played this too much. I was past fighting games by the time this came out. But I am willing to try a new version
I’m not of huge fan of fighting games, I somehow get tired with the sound in it.
